Perched on the slopes of the Pindus Mountain range at the footsteps of
Pindus National Park in Greece, Grand Forest Metsovo is the height of

The hotel is comprised of only 10,000 square meters in a total land area of 2
square kilometres. The design and construction deliberately reflects nature
through materials, patterns, and management styles that are sympathetic
to the surrounding vernacular features. Comprised of 62 suites spread in 8
staggered buildings with grey stone roof tiles, stone facades and chunky
beams, the hotel lends to a distinctly mountain chalet ambiance with a
welcoming, cozy feel. With peaks and forests discernible all around, and
scents of pine and log fires. Nature is very raw here and the feeling that
you are close to it is very strong.

Metsovo 1350m. Restaurant: Experience modern local dishes, refined beverages
and breathtaking views from our beautiful restaurant. The menu is designed by
executive consultant chef Gikas Xenakis, Cuisinier de l'année 2020 by Gault &
Millau reflects the great culinary traditions of the region, and is based on fresh and
local ingredients. The Pines: The outstanding space of the hotel with its two
distinctive fireplaces operates only on request and for private use offering the
“Good Life Experience” with exquisite malts and cigars. Fontus Spa: ‘Fontus’, the
Roman God of springs, wellness is generously offered in an elegant environment,
inspired by the need for relaxation and revitalization. The treatments are based on
the affluent aromas and herbs from the prosperous Greek lands, with uttermost
respect to nature. E. Averoff Hall: a multi-purpose hall with capacity up to 200
people, dedicated to Evangelos Averoff Tositsas, national benefactor, from whom
Greece and particularly his birthplace Metsovo, were willed with cultural heritage
and Metsovo’s modern development. The Forest: The pivotal feature of the site,
the virgin forest, offering an array of activities year-round. Horse riding can be
enjoyed into the forest starting from the farm, hiking in the marked routes, wild
truffle hunting, biking, canyoning, skiing, snow-hiking, snow - mobiling, bird
watching, all of them supplemented by a picnic in the heart of nature.
